Fielding Group Ltd. is a Canadian specialty food packager and distributor. Founded in 1981 by Jim Fielding, we have remained family owned and operated. Today, Jim continues to lead the company as President and is joined by his wife Lily, and daughter Sarah.
For over 40 years, we have provided an innovative collection of specialty food brands, 90% of which are made in Canada, to help you stand out in your industry. Over the years, we have taken great pride in growing our network of clients through building relationships and a proven track record which is unsurpassed by other specialty food suppliers in Canada today.

In the mid 1970’s, Jim Fielding wanted to order a gourmet gift basket for his dear food-loving aunt Wynn. All that he could find at the time was a handful of companies that made fruit baskets and cheese trays. Unsatisfied and determined to gift his aunt a gourmet food basket, Jim got to work and crafted his first gift basket. Needless to say, it was well-received as was his entrepreneurial drive and passion for creativity.
In 1981, Jim started Fielding Group in a small warehouse in toronto. Within a couple of years, Jim was confronted with a need for more specialty food suppliers. He had been sourcing from grocery stores & small european shops but supply was falling short. With a greater vision in mind, Jim shifted his focus on building relationships with global specialty food manufacturers and packing suppliers.
By the 1990s, Fielding Group launched its collection of specialty food items, importing and packing in-house for basket companies and a variety of retail stores. Over the next several years, the demand for specialty food distribution in North America became Fielding Group's sole focus.
Today, Fielding Group packages specialty food products, 90% of which are Canadian-made, under its various brands - Made Chocolates®, Chocolate Classique®, Cherrington®, Canada Coast to Coast® & Qustom Confections®.
